Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, presented her new book &#8211;\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/global.oup.com\/academic\/product\/europes-crisis-of-legitimacy-9780198797050?prevNumResPerPage=60&amp;prevSortField=1&amp;view=Standard&amp;resultsPerPage=60&amp;subjectcode1=1805239%7CSOC00010&amp;facet_narrowbybinding_facet=Hardcover&amp;facet_narrowbyprice_facet=100to200&amp;start=60&amp;lang=en&amp;cc=us\">Europe\u2019s Crisis of Legitimacy: Governing by Rules and Ruling by Numbers<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>&#8211; during a virtual seminar during &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/worldwide.harvard.edu\/\">Worldwide Week at Harvard<\/a>.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In her presentation, Schmidt discussed the content of her book, which argues that the European Union&#8217;s (EU) crisis of legitimacy is a result of its management of the 2010 Eurozone crisis.
