Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University hosted a\u00a0March 20, 2019 resume workshop for students interested in pursuing careers with the United States government.\u00a0The workshop was held as part of the school\u2019s Pardee Works series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Laura Wiggins (Pardee &#8217;19), who previously interned with the U.S. Department of State and currently serves as the\u00a0<span>Boston University Foreign Affairs Campus Coorinator for the Bureau of Public Affairs, led the workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Students who attended the workshop learned what information a federal resume requires beyond a normal resume, how job announcements on USAJOBS can require different structures, and received advice on how to construct a federal resume and navigate USAJOBS.<\/p>\n<p><span>The Pardee Works series\u00a0focuses on bringing\u00a0professionals currently working in the diverse field of global studies to present for and network with Pardee School students.
