Adil Najam<\/a>, Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University,\u00a0participated in an October 29, 2018 workshop hosted by the German Mission to the United Stations and Adelphi, a leading independent think tank and public policy consultancy, on climate change and security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop focused on placing environmental security on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council. Najam argued that while climate change is clearly a security issue, he’s not sure there is a security answer to the challenges posed by climate change.<\/p>\n
