Authors do not make a formal presentation but are able to engage with the audience and answer questions after the papers are discussed.

The theme for the 2018-2019 colloquium is “Religion, Violence, and Peacemaking.” The working papers will explore the ways in which religious institutions, beliefs, and practices support or combat violence, promote reconciliation, or serve as a source of violent social division.

Boston University’s Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs (CURA) brings together a multi-disciplinary community of scholars to encourage and support research on the role of religion in public affairs.
