Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, spoke at June 5, 2018 Cuba Policy Seminar hosted by the\u00a0South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The seminar, entitled &#8220;Korea-Cuba Relations and Cooperation in the Post-Castro Era: Opportunities and Challenges,&#8221;\u00a0began with a\u00a0session on &#8220;Prospects for Cuba&#8217;s Political and Economic Situations After Raul Castro.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hare spoke as part of a session on &#8220;Promoting Korea-Cuba Exchanges and Cooperation,&#8221; that was moderated by Prof. Kim Won-ho of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. The panel also featured Suh Jung Kyuk,\u00a0former Director of the KOTRA Havana Office, and Prof. Kwak Jae Sung of the Graduate School of Pan-Pancific International Studies at Kyung Hee University.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/paul-webster-hare\/\">Amb. Hare<\/a><span>\u00a0teaches classes at Boston University on Diplomatic Practice, Arms Control, Intercultural Communication and on Cuba in Transition. His novel, \u201cMoncada \u2013 A Cuban Story\u201d, set in modern Cuba, was published in May 2010. His book \u201cMaking Diplomacy Work; Intelligent Innovation for the Modern World.\u2019 was published in early 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amb.
