Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University<span>\u00a0<\/span><span>presented their expertise at the International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Conference, held from\u00a0April 4-7, 2018\u00a0in San Francisco, California. The highly-attended annual convention fosters\u00a0rigorous discussion on research and writing on a broad range of topics within the field of international studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The theme of this year&#8217;s conference was &#8220;The Rules of Power, The Power of Rules.&#8221; Pardee School faculty attending and speaking at the ISA conference included:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/joseph-wippl\/\">Joseph Wippl,<\/a><span>\u00a0Professor of the Practice of International Relations, participated in an intelligence studies roundtable entitled &#8220;Intelligence,\u00a0Policy,\u00a0and\u00a0Scholarship:\u00a0Building\u00a0Harmony\u00a0or\u00a0 Managing\u00a0Discord?&#8221; and a discussion entitled &#8220;CIA\u00a0and\u00a0US\u00a0Diplomacy:\u00a0Political\u00a0vs\u00a0Professional\u00a0Leadership.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/john-woodward\/\">John D. Woodward, Jr<\/a><span>., Professor of the Practice of International Relations,\u00a0participated in an intelligence studies roundtable entitled &#8220;Intelligence,\u00a0Policy,\u00a0and\u00a0Scholarship:\u00a0Building\u00a0Harmony\u00a0or\u00a0 Managing\u00a0Discord?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/jeffrey-karam\/\">Jeffrey G.
