Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University<\/a><span>\u00a0took a\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/files\/2016\/01\/MA-DC-Trip.pdf\">spring trip<\/a><span>\u00a0to Washington D.C. from March 4-7, 2018 to visit\u00a0think tanks, non-governmental-organizations, government departments and meet\u00a0with high-level policy makers and practitioners of international affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The trip included visits to the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Institute of Peace, Massachusetts\u00a0Congressman Bill Keating\u2019s office on Capitol Hill, World Bank, Atlantic Council and RAND\u00a0Corporation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In addition to stops at\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span><span>U.S. Department of State, U.S. Institute of Peace\u00a0and World Bank,<\/span><span>\u00a0the MA candidates also had the opportunity to\u00a0<\/span><span>meet a number of Boston Univeristy and Pardee School alumni working in the\u00a0Washington D.C. area. Students were joined on the trip by Director of Graduate Studies and Professor of the Practice of International Relations\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/robert-g-loftis\/\">Amb. Robert Loftis<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/2018\/03\/06\/pardee-school-alumni-gather-in-washington-d-c\/\">Students had the opportunity to network with Boston University and Pardee School alumni based in the D.C.-area<\/a> at a reception hosted by the BU Washington D.C. Programs office.
