Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University and Director of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cura\/\">the Institute on Culture, Religion and World Affairs<\/a>\u00a0(CURA), was recently interviewed for an article on\u00a0an independent report by the Rwandan government that accuses French officials of complicity in Rwanda&#8217;s 1994 genocide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Longman was quoted in a December 13, 2017 article in the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\">New York Times<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>entitled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/12\/13\/world\/africa\/rwanda-france-genocide.html?_r=0\">Rwanda Accuses France of Complicity in 1994 Genocide.<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>From the text of the article:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span>\u201cThere were cases where they found Tutsi refugees, saw them, and then left them, and more of them were killed,\u201d said Timothy P. Longman, the [former] <\/span><span>director of the African Studies Center at Boston University. \u201cIt\u2019s one thing after another.
