The Pardee Periodical Journal of Global Affairs, the graduate student academic journal at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, published its\u00a0<\/span>first online article<\/span>\u00a0of the 2017-18 academic year on November 9, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

The article, entitled “Ocean Conservation With an Eye Toward the Future: Managing Marine Protected Areas For Climate Resilience,<\/a>” was written by Chelsey Bryson.<\/p>\n

The online section of the Pardee Periodical works to fulfill the Pardee School\u2019s motto of \u201cAdvancing Human Progress\u201d by selecting those submissions that offer innovative perspectives on short topical pieces of approximately 1,000 words.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the online edition, pieces such as<\/span> editorials<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> literature reviews<\/span><\/a>, and<\/span> photo journals<\/span><\/a> have already been published. These efforts reflect the Pardee Periodical\u2019s mission: to empower graduate students to inform and enhance the ongoing discourse in global studies by offering them a platform to publish their thoughts and work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any MA or PhD students, as well as recent graduates, are invited to<\/span> submit their original work<\/span><\/a> to the Pardee Periodical. These submissions can rather be work already completed in a graduate level class, or independent research.<\/span><\/p>\n
