Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University<\/span><span>\u00a0gathered for their\u00a0fourth annual retreat on September 9, 2017 to\u00a0plan for the new academic year and discuss the long-term strategic goals and priorities\u00a0of the school. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In what has become an annual tradition, the retreat provides an opportunity for all faculty and staff to gather for an intensive all-day set\u00a0on\u00a0discussions on key strategic issues. The theme of this year&#8217;s discussion was,\u00a0<em>&#8220;The Student Experience at the Pardee School: In and Out of Class.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The retreat brought together full-time faculty, lecturers<\/span><span>\u00a0and Directors of the centers and institutes housed at the Pardee School<\/span><span>. Discussions were led by\u00a0Pardee School Dean\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/adil-najam\/\">Adil Najam<\/a>\u00a0and<span>\u00a0Associate\u00a0Dean\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/william-w-grimes\/\">William Grimes<\/a>.
