Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University,\u00a0was recently interviewed on North Korea’s attempt to test its adversaries with a brazen missile launch over Japan earlier this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Najam was interviewed for an August 31, 2017 in\u00a0The Boston Herald<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>entitled “North Korea Out to \u2018Test Limits\u2019 With Missiles<\/a>.”<\/p>\n From the text of the article:<\/p>\n North Korea\u2019s rogue dictator\u2019s brazen missile launch over Japan Monday was an attempt to \u201ctest the limits,\u201d according to one local expert, who noted follow-up threats of more tests in \u201ca meaningful prelude to containing Guam\u201d has the Trump administration wrestling with an appropriate response.<\/p>\n \u201cNorth Korea is really testing our patience,\u201d said Adil Najam, the dean of Boston University\u2019s Pardee School of Global Studies. \u201cThey\u2019re trying to test the limits here and my own guess is that they\u2019re coming close to the U.S. being pushed into a corner where they\u2019ll have to do something. … This sort of behavior is very provoking, and the U.S. must be weighing its options very carefully right now and cannot just remain silent.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
