Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University<\/span>,<span>\u00a0attended the recent\u00a0Aspen Security Forum, a\u00a0gathering where leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines engage in discussions on the key security issues of the day to\u00a0answer critical questions about national and homeland security.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Held at the A<\/span><span>spen Institute\u2019s campus in Aspen, Colorado from\u00a0July 19-22, 2017, the forum is attended by\u00a0\u00a0top level present and former government officials from agencies including the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense, State, Justice, and the Treasury; industry leaders; and nationally noted print and broadcast journalists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This year, former CIA chief John Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, attended the forum to\u00a0speak on a panel entitled &#8220;Under Assault,&#8221; that focused on the\u00a0top external and internal threats to national security.
