Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, recently conducted an external review of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cirs.georgetown.edu\/\">Georgetown University Center for International and Regional Studies<\/a>\u00a0and participated\u00a0in the inaugural meeting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/arabcenterdc.org\/\">Advisory Board for the Arab Center-Washington\u00a0D.C<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Georgetown University Center for International and Regional Studies\u00a0 sponsors major studies of regional and international significance, including research initiatives in the areas of international relations, political economy, and domestic politics of the Gulf. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Arab Center-Washington D.C.\u00a0is focusing on a variety of areas including perspectives on democratization, human rights, and justice in Arab countries;\u00a0Regional conflicts and peacemaking efforts in the Middle East, and U.S. Middle East foreign policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/augustus-richard-norton\/\">Augustus Richard Norton<\/a><span> is a professor of both International Relations and Anthropology at the Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies. He is also a Visiting Professor in Politics of the Middle East at the University of Oxford and a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
