\"Predictions<\/a><\/p>\n

Pakistan’s leading English language newspaper, Dawn<\/em><\/a>, asked leading thought-leaders from Pakistan to go out on a limb and make three predictions for what might happen in 2017. Amongst the pundits who were asked to put their thoughts on the line was our own Prof. Adil Najam<\/a>,\u00a0Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University.<\/p>\n

Here is the list<\/a> he came up with.<\/p>\n

1. Terrorism shall continue<\/h4>\n

2. Populism, authoritarianism and ultra-nationalism will rise globally<\/h4>\n

3. Democracy in Pakistan will not fall<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n
