Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University,<\/a>\u00a0participated in this roundtable at<span>\u00a0Harvard University on \u00a0Sept. 1, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The topic discussed was <em>Greece and the Euro Crisis: International Dimensions,<\/em> with Harvard Professors Dani Rodrik, Peter A. Hall, and Michael Hertzfeld, along with Schmidt. The roundtable was held at the <a href=\"http:\/\/wcfia.harvard.edu\/about\">Weatherhead Center for International Affairs,<\/a> as part of the orientation of this year\u2019s Visiting Fellows program.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I discussed the problems of democratic legitimacy in the European Union with regard to the Eurozone crisis generally, plus how these problems apply specifically in the case of the recent Greek crisis,&#8221; Schmidt said.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Weatherhead Center for International Affairs\u00a0<span>is the\u00a0largest international social science center within Harvard University\u2019s Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Center is structured to encourage the highest practical level of personal and intellectual interaction among a diverse community of scholars and practitioners.<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wcfia.harvard.edu\/about\"><span>Learn more about it\u00a0<\/span>here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this summer,<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/avservices\/photo\/photoByReportage.cfm?ref=028611&amp;sitelang=en\"> Schmidt visited\u00a0<span>Kristalina Georgieva<\/span><\/a><span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/avservices\/photo\/photoByReportage.cfm?ref=028611&amp;sitelang=en\">,<\/a> Vice-President charge of Budget and Human Resources for the European Commission. She also opened a photography exhibit at the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ces.fas.harvard.edu\/#\/page\/giedrojc_gallery\">Jacek E.
