Renata Keller,<\/a> Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, said that Chilean President Michelle Bachelet’s decision to replace her Cabinet needed to be followed with structural change.<\/p>\n

Keller made the argument in a number of May 7 media sources, including ABC News,<\/a> the Spanish-language outlet 20 Minutos,<\/a> the Wall Street Journal<\/a>, the Washington Post<\/a> and the New York Times.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Cabinet shuffle might not be enough to turn things around, but it is a starting point for more profound change, said Renata Keller, an assistant professor of international relations at Boston University.<\/p>\n

“They’re going to have to work with the justice system, investigate the scandals and study the laws so they can see what needs to be changed in order to strengthen them,” Keller said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
