Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University,<\/a> held its annual Spring Reception at the School&#8217;s headquarters at 121 Bay State Road on April 30.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/eugenio-menegon\/\">Eugenio Menegon,<\/a> current and outgoing Director of the Center, announced plans for 2015 as guests enjoyed enjoyed ood conversation, food and\u00a0a displays of ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/catherine-v-yeh\/\">Professor\u00a0Catherine Yeh<\/a>\u00a0will serve as the Center&#8217;s\u00a0Director for 2015-16.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Another academic year is ending for Asian Studies on campus, and it is my pleasure to celebrate our accomplishments and our first year as part of the Pardee School,&#8221; Menegon said.<\/p>\n<p>The event also celebrated the announcement of new BUCSA\u00a0Board members\u00a0<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardeeschool\/profile\/william-w-grimes\/\">Prof. William Grimes<\/a><span>\u00a0(Pardee School of Global Studies),\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/history\/faculty\/benjamin-siegel\/\">Prof. Benjamin Siegel<\/a><span>\u00a0(History),\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ah\/faculty\/faculty-by-name\/alice-tseng\/\">Prof. Alice Tseng<\/a><span>\u00a0(History of Art and Architecture), and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/mlcl\/profile\/anna-zielinska-elliott\/\">Prof. Anna\u00a0Zielinska-Elliot<\/a><span>\u00a0(Modern Languages and Comparative Literature).
