Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University,<\/a> lent her expertise to a recent research conference at Harvard University.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At the <a href=\"http:\/\/europeanconference.org\/ \">Harvard Student Conference on Europe<\/a>, I was moderator for the plenary session,&#8221; Schmidt said. &#8220;I was joined by European Union Vice President of the Commission for Budget and Human Resources Kristalina Giorgeva, Secretary-General of the External Action Service, Pierre Vimont, and Harvard Professor of History Charles Maier.&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/europeanconference.org\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The conference was held Feb. 27 &#8211; 28 and billed as a &#8216;two day forum for policy and business ideas to move Europe forward.&#8221; This is the first year that the conference will be held in both the U.
