Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University<\/a> has announced a call for abstracts for the its annual Graduate Student Conference.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s theme will be <em>Global Development, Peace and Security: Advancing Human Progress.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The GIRC calls for papers from graduate students (not limited to Boston University students) in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including, but not limited to: Anthropology, Development Studies, Economics, Education, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, International Relations, Law, Media Studies, Political Science, Public Health, Religion, \u00a0Sociology, and more.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be held at Boston University on February 27-28, 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong>: Submit a 400 word abstract to psgsgrad@bu.edu by January 10. Include your name, address, telephone number, and institutional affiliation in the email.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by January 20.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is free of charge for both presenters and attendees.<\/p>\n<p>Further conference details will be announced soon, including the keynote speaker and schedule.
