S. and Iran.<\/p>\n<p>An excerpt (in German) from the report, published on November 19, 2014, quoting Prof. Chehabi:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Wahrscheinlich helfen IS und iranische Wirtschaftskrise nicht einmal bei den Atomverhandlungen, vermutet Houchang Chehabi, Professor f\u00fcr internationale Beziehungen an der Boston University. &#8220;Ich glaube, dass die Hardliner des Regimes ideologisch so verbr\u00e4mt sind, dass sie einen l\u00e4ngeren Konflikt in Kauf nehmen, wenn sie meinen, dass der Westen ihnen etwas aufzwingen m\u00f6chte&#8221;, sagt er.<\/p>\n<p>Chehabi spricht von der &#8220;Tragik der US-amerikanisch-iranischen Beziehung&#8221;.
