Scott Taylor and Jack Weinstein Present: “Global Security: Challenges & Opportunities for the 21st Century”
The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies Dean Scott Taylor and Professor of the Practice Jack Weinstein were the featured speakers at recent BU events in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The LA event, hosted by Ali Brodie (Pardee’04) was held at the offices of Fox Rothschild LLP and the San Francisco gathering was at the City Club. At both events, Dean Taylor talked about his first year at Pardee and some of his plans for the school’s future. He then engaged Professor Weinstein in a discussion on the United States military preparedness, civilian-military relations, and how to bring those issues, and more, into the classroom to help prepare Pardee students to be future global leaders.
