Ambassador Vesko Garčević, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was among many scholars and diplomatic practitioners quoted in a Business Insider article on the leadership qualities of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The article, titled “5 indispensable lessons CEOs can learn from Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” offers five pieces of advice that leaders of all types – CEOs in particular – can glean from Zelenskyy and his approach to crisis management: cut to the chase, lead from the front lines, Show your humanity, dress the part, and stay relentless. Garčević commented specifically on the Ukrainian president’s authenticity and the authority that stems from it.
