Pardee Graduate Council Elects New Leadership

The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC), the official graduate student organization of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, has elected new leadership for the 2020-2021 term.

The new officers are detailed below.

President: Georgina Mroczynski (MAIA Diplomacy ’22)
Vice-President: Joyana Richer (MAIA Diplomacy ’22)
Social Chair: Flavia Roscini (MAIA International Communication ’22)
Secretary: Sobia Shadbar (MAIA Global Economic Affairs ’22)
Treasurer: Alexander Smith (MAIA Security Studies ’22)

“I am unbelievably honored to be elected the President of PGC and to represent such an aspiring, resilient cohort,” said incoming PGC President Georgina Mroczynski. “As President I will promote open forums of discussion, recognize and get to know our fellow Pardee graduate students, and facilitate events focused on giving back to our community. Despite what challenges may persist, we at the Pardee School of Global Studies will continue to grow and evolve to reach new heights this coming spring.”

“As Vice President of the PGC, I am most looking forward to making a difference in the lives and community around Pardee. I want to help create a safe space for students to come and remember why we are all here, and to build each other up even in the toughest of times. We are stronger together, and that’s the kind of empowerment I want students to walk away with.”
