Hare in The National on Cuban Oil Suppliers
Amb. Paul Webster Hare, Senior Lecturer at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed for an article on Cuban oil suppliers amid the ongoing crisis in Venezuela.
Hare was quoted in a February 19, 2019 article in The National entitled “Cuba Looks to Oil From Qatar amid Venezuela Crisis.”

With a 40 per cent drop in Venezuelan oil shipments in recent years, the island “has begun to look for alternative oil suppliers: Russia, Iran and other countries,” said Paul Webster Hare, a former British ambassador who has lived in Cuba and Venezuela.
Amb. Hare teaches classes at Boston University on Diplomatic Practice, Arms Control, Intercultural Communication and on Cuba in Transition. His novel, “Moncada – A Cuban Story”, set in modern Cuba, was published in May 2010. His book “Making Diplomacy Work; Intelligent Innovation for the Modern World.’ was published in early 2015.
