pgc_boxpic_2The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC), the official graduate student organization of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, held its 2016/2017 executive board elections on Thursday, February 4.

The newly elected officers are Jack Robert Davidson (president), Katherine Seaton (vice president), Florian Bodamer (secretary), James Souza (GSO liason), Xie Fei (member at large), and Christopher Stille (treasurer).

The PGC organizes a variety of activities aimed at enriching graduate student life at the Pardee School. Previous events held include dinners and discussions with faculty, social events, film screenings, and game day events at nearby Fenway Park.

Each year in the spring semester, the PGC organizes a graduate student conference centered around a theme chosen by the students. The conference draws graduate students from the many colleges and universities throughout the Boston area and beyond. This year’s conference is entitled “Shifting Global Systems” and will be held Feb. 19 – 20 at 121 Bay State Road.
