Keylor on FOX25 News: Terror in France

William Keylor, Professor of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, provided insight in the earliest moments of the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris, France.

Keylor spoke with journalists covering the breaking story on Nov. 13 for FOX25 News, as facts were still coming in regarding the scale of the devastation and the identities of the perpetrators.

“What’s most important to keep in mind is that this didn’t happen in tourist sites, it was in places off the beaten path,” said Keylor when speaking with the media. He also compared the attacks to the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris earlier this year, and discussed the implications if those responsible were identified as ISIS (ISIS claimed responsibility on Nov. 14).

Keylor has been a Guggenheim, Fulbright, Woodrow Wilson, Earhart, and Whiting Fellow. He was elected to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, has been named Chevalier de L’Ordre National du Mérite by the French government, and has served as the president of the Society for French Historical Studies.
