Corgan Talks American Politics in Iceland
Michael Corgan, Associate Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University gave a lecture on Nov. 20 on the state of American politics after the U. S. midterm elections at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík.
The talk covered why the elections turned out as they did, some interesting anomalies in the results, and what the divided government means for the U. S. and its international politics in the next two years. Specifically, Corgan addressed whether Putin, ISIS, China, or Israel “won” anything by the results.
