Gallagher<\/a> is Core Faculty in Diplomacy &#038; Governance at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/research\/rpi\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Rising Powers Initiative<\/a> at the Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, and Professor of global development policy at Boston University\u2019s Pardee School of Global Studies, where he directs the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/gdp\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Global Development Policy Center<\/a>. He is the author or co-author of six books including <em>The China Triangle: Latin America\u2019s China Boom and the Fate of the Washington Consensus<\/em>, and <em>Ruling Capital: Emerging Markets and the Reregulation of Cross-Border Finance<\/em>. He serves on the United Nations\u2019 Committee for Development Policy and co-chairs the T-20 Task Force on International Financial Architecture at the G-20.
