In his chapter, accessible\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www15.gencat.cat\/cads\/AppPHP\/images\/stories\/publicacions\/informesespecials\/2010\/sicccat\/informe_per_captols\/13_el_proces_de_les_negociacions_internacionals_sobre_cc.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, Dr. Mu\u00f1oz provides an overview of international negotiations on climate change, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>history of negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)<\/li>\n<li>other negiotiating arenas<\/li>\n<li>actors and institutions<\/li>\n<li>process<\/li>\n<li>issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This work has been done in the context of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iec.cat\/canviclimatic\/\" target=\"_blank\">Catalan Government Group of Experts on Climate Change<\/a>. The group periodically assesses all climate change information relevant to Catalonia, and produces an in-depth assessment report, currently in its second cycle.<\/p>\n<p>The group was created in 2000, bringing together researchers and practitioners from different disciplines whose works was related to one or more aspects of climate change in Catalonia, with the aim of compiling all the information and making it available in a comprehensive manner.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Munoz was\u00a0<a href=\"..\/2009\/06\/02\/dr-munoz-appointed-to-climate-expert-group\/\" target=\"_blank\">appointed<\/a> to the Catalan Government Group of Experts on Climate Change in 2009<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pardee Center Post-doctoral Fellow\u00a0Dr. Miquel Munoz authored a chapter in the\u00a0Second Assessment Report of Climate Change in Catalonia, printed in Catalan in late 2010 and recently made available online.
