Pardee Center Director Prof. Adil Najam and Pardee Fellow Dr. Miquel Mu\u00f1oz published respective op eds on the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Climate Change negotiations in Canc\u00fan.<\/p>\n

Professor Najam’s op ed, titled Renewing the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)<\/em><\/a> has been published in the blog Triple Crisis<\/a>, and can be accessed here<\/a>. In his piece, Prof. Najam highlights the opportunity provided by the change of leadership at IRENA, with Kenyan development economist and seasoned UN official Adnan Amin now at the helm. He outlines key challenges for IRENA, including internal management, ratification by parties, mission clarity and focus on developing countries.<\/p>\n
