Issues to be addressed include the cultural, social and historical forces that generated earlier energy transitions; differences in driving forces between developed and developing nations; and the attitudes, behaviors, policies, and institutions are needed to manage, or perhaps even engineer, the impending energy transition.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"overflow: hidden; position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px;\">The main tasks of the Research Associate will be to stimulate interdisciplinary exchange among participants, establish a year-long seminar series, support PhD students in the project, and coordinate publications and outreach.
