The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future invites you to attend its 2020 Distinguished Lecture on Thursday, April 13 from 4:00 \u2013 5:30 pm at the Metcalf Trustee Center, 1 Silber Way.<\/p>\n

The annual Pardee Center Distinguished Lecture is the Center\u2019s flagship event, and has featured Nobel laureates, institutional leaders, and leading public intellectuals over the years. To mark the Center’s 20th anniversary, this year’s Distinguished Lecture will take the form of a Deans’ roundtable, where an interdisciplinary group of six Deans from across Boston University will discuss the topic, “What Climate Change Means to Me.”<\/p>\n

The event will begin with a tribute to the late Anthony Janetos<\/a>, Director of the Pardee Center from May 2013 until his death in August 2019, who was a world-renowned expert on climate change.<\/p>\n
