Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. Prof. Mozumder\u00a0is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth &amp; Environment with a joint appointment in the Department of Economics at Florida International University (FIU).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While in residence at the Pardee Center, Prof. Mozumder continued his research\u00a0on migration and other climate adaptation strategies in Bangladesh, contrasting the policy approaches for resilience in developing countries to those undertaken in places like the Florida Keys and Miami Beach.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2017, he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/2017\/08\/02\/graduate-summer-fellows-meet-with-prof-pallab-mozumder\/\" target=\"_blank\">met with the Graduate Summer Fellows<\/a>\u00a0to discuss his career path and his ongoing research. He also participated\u00a0in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/2018\/02\/16\/experts-discuss-impacts-of-climate-change-on-livelihoods-in-bangladesh-at-pardee-center-seminar\/\" target=\"_blank\">a Pardee Center seminar<\/a>\u00a0in February 2018 exploring the impacts of climate change on livelihoods in Bangladesh.
