Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future is pleased to announce that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/susan-foster\/\">Prof. Susan Foster <\/a>has been appointed as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/community\/pardee-fellows\/ttp:\/\/\">Pardee Faculty Fellow<\/a>. A professor in the Department of International Health at <a href=\"http:\/\/sph.bu.edu\/\">Boston University&#8217;s School of Public Health<\/a>, she is an expert in the economics of infectious disease, international public health, and public health and development. Prof. Foster is also a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/community\/pardee-advisory-board\/\">Pardee Center&#8217;s Advisory Board<\/a> and was a presenter at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/2013\/03\/29\/systems-view-development\/\">Pardee House Seminar in March<\/a> on &#8220;Ecosystems, Culture, and Governance: A Systems View of Development.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Frederick S.
