The Conference will include the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unfccc.int\">UNFCCC<\/a>) and associated meetings COM\/MOP 7, SBSTA 35, SBI 35, AWG-LCA and AWG-KP. Many side events and parallel meetings will also take place, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgiar.org\">CGIAR<\/a> \/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifad.org\">IFAD<\/a>\u2018s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agricultureday.org\/\">Agriculture and<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agricultureday.org\">Rural Development Day<\/a> ; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unepfi.org\">UNEP FI<\/a>\u2018s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wclimate.com\/world-climate-summit\/wcs-2011\/\">World Climate Summit <\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fanrpan.org\/documents\/d01194\/\">Climate Communications Day<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifor.cgiar.org\">CIFOR<\/a>\u2018s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestsclimatechange.org\/events\/forest-day\/forest-day-5.html\">Forest Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As an Observer Organization, Boston University can provide accreditation to members of the BU community and research partners to attend the Durban meetings. The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future is Boston University\u2019s Designated Contact Point to the UNFCCC. The deadline for nominations is September 27, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Boston University faculty, students and collaborators interested in attending these meetings and in need of accreditation please direct your inquiries to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/community\/miquel-munoz\/\">Dr. Miquel Mu\u00f1oz<\/a> (miquel@bu.edu) before  September 23.
