Biography<\/h3>\n

Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu is a PhD candidate at Boston University\u2019s Department of Political Science. His doctoral research at Boston University \u00a0focuses on post-structural international relations theory, sociology of religion, and the role of ethnic\/religious identities in international politics. His doctoral\u00a0project comparatively analyzes how the nature of discourses used regarding the increasing visibility of Islam in the European Union affects attitudes of Muslim groups towards integration into a secular Europe.<\/p>\n

Previously, he has been a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna, a research assistant with the\u00a0Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA), Ankara, a summer intern with the Turkey Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Washington, DC, and a teaching fellow at Boston University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
