Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University held the first Pardee House Seminar of the academic year, \u201cThe Future of Urban Housing: Enhancing Energy Efficiency,\u201d on September 17 with approximately 40 BU students, faculty, and other guests in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Panelists included BU professors\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/energy\/people\/faculty\/bio-kaufmann\/\">Robert K. Kaufmann<\/a>\u00a0(Earth &amp; Environment) and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/energy\/people\/faculty\/bio-gevelber\/\">Michael Gevelber<\/a>\u00a0(Mechanical Engineering), and Pardee Research Fellow\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/pardee\/community\/enrique-r-silva\/\">Enrique Silva<\/a>\u00a0(Lincoln Institute of Land Policy), who served as moderator. Silva, Kaufmann, and Gevelber work together on the Madison Park Housing Energy Efficiency research project, a collaborative of the BU Sustainable Neighborhoods Lab and the Madison Park Development Corporation.
