{"id":2203,"date":"2025-04-30T14:36:20","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T18:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/online\/?post_type=bu-program-page&#038;p=2203"},"modified":"2025-10-07T11:34:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T15:34:48","slug":"online-dmin","status":"publish","type":"bu-program-page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/online\/degrees-certificates\/ministry\/online-dmin\/","title":{"rendered":"Online Doctor of Ministry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>Degree Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Doctor of Ministry students are required to take 30 units as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>4 Intensive Seminars <\/strong>(offered in-person, 1-week intensives in August and January):<ul><li>Transformational Leadership (4 units)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Contextual-Theological Analysis (4 units)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Research Methods (2 units)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>DMin Project Colloquium (2 units)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>3 Cohort Courses:<\/strong> Cohort courses are offered online, and students take them together as a cohort. All cohort courses must be taken at STH (12 units).<\/li><li><strong>1 Elective Course from any area:<\/strong> This 800-level course may be taken online or, in special circumstances, may be petitioned to be taken on-campus at STH.
