Ed started as a Media Producer for the Office of Distance Education in 2013 and currently is the Lead Media Producer. ODE’s Media Department produces videos, graphics, and interactive elements for online courses that cover the entire range of schools and colleges at the university.
Before focusing on media production, Ed worked as a high school film teacher, a photojournalist, and a bartender at a jazz club in New Zealand. Since starting at BU, he has started to learn to code, mostly using JavaScript and Python.
Outside of the office, Ed spends his time working on printmaking projects and playing basketball.
