Senior Associate General CounselJay Mahler joined the Office of the General Counsel in June 2015 and he was promoted to Senior Associate General Counsel in July 2026. Prior to joining the OGC, Mr. Mahler was an attorney with the law firms of McCarter & English, LLP and Brown Rudnick LLP in Boston. Mr. Mahler earned a B.A., cum laude, from Syracuse University in 1998, and a J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 2003. During law school, he served as Executive Editor of The Connecticut Journal of International Law. Mr. Mahler is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and the author of Real Estate Development, Leasing and Financing: A Sustainable Perspective (Thomson Reuters/WestLaw; 2012, 2014). |
