At the same time, I saw them miss out on opportunities. For instance, a first-gen friend recently confided in me that she didn&#8217;t study abroad because she didn&#8217;t realize there were resources to help her finance the trip.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I&#8217;m a Terrier FIRSTS Advocate to help students navigate the &#8220;Hidden Curriculum&#8221; of higher education. I also love chatting with students and learning more about them. As a central admin, I work with almost every office in the College of Arts &amp; Science.
