I often use my institutional knowledge to help my colleagues, and hope to use it to help students navigate the University, as well. I was not a first-generation student, but my now-husband was, and I watched him navigate the undergraduate and graduate processes with only the support of myself and his friends. I spend a lot time visiting family in New Hampshire and Maine.
