Her research explores how Reelin influences neuronal activity and synaptic function using confocal microscopy, molecular biology, and behavioral assays.\u00a0 She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Rhode Island, where she studied protein homeostasis and amyloid disassembly. She previously worked at Alkahest, Inc., conducting preclinical studies on blood-brain barrier dynamics and neurovascular health.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"il\">Negar<\/span><span>\u00a0conducts her research in Dr. Angela Ho\u2019s lab and collaborates with Dr. Steve Ramirez\u2019s lab, using stereotaxic injections and AAV-based tools to investigate engram cells and Reelin-expressing neurons.
