He was first introduced to neurophotonics during his senior capstone project where he worked on a miniature fluorescent microscope for awake animal studies with Professor Timothy Gardner\u2019s group. After graduation, Carlos worked as a research assistant at the Martinos Center at MGH with Dr. Abbas Yaseen.
