{"id":3655,"date":"2020-08-26T12:52:34","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T17:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/neurophotonics\/?post_type=profile&#038;p=3655"},"modified":"2025-09-17T11:06:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T15:06:14","slug":"natalie-gilmore","status":"publish","type":"profile","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/neurophotonics\/profile\/natalie-gilmore\/","title":{"rendered":"Natalie Gilmore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Natalie Gilmore<\/strong><span> (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/aphasiaresearch\/people\/\">Aphasia Research Laboratory<\/a>) is a doctoral candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/aphasiaresearch\/people\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/aphasiaresearch\/people\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1598375698682000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG1bGAtoJ_gua2dvqEBaYsnTvDo3A\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><\/a>working with Dr. Swathi Kiran in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Sargent College. She achicved her BA in communication sciences &amp; disorders from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS in medical speech-language pathology from the University of Washington. Before returning for her doctorate in 2015, Natalie worked as an outpatient speech-language pathologist specializing in neurorehabilitation. Natalie is currently starting the second year of her two-year predoctoral training grant (NIH\/NIDCD F31), co-sponsored by Dr. Kiran and Dr. David Boas, in which she is examining the behavioral and neural effects of an intensive, academically-focused cognitive rehabilitation program for young adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) interested in college.
