She completed a post-baccalaureate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she acquired her first experience working in neuroscience (Parkinson\u2019s disease research). Jennifer became involved in neurophotonics during her rotation in Dr. Han\u2019s lab where she was exposed to optogenetic techniques to further study neurodegenerative diseases. She is currently a rising second year in the department of Pharmacology &amp; Experimental Therapeutics and expect to graduate in 2024.
