He came in with a strong interest in Biomaterials and wet lab work but found himself much more geared toward data science and neural engineering. Daniel received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami. His dissertation will involve using a data science approach in neuroscience on large neural data sets for novel analyses.
