Deadline for proposals for Consideration with ENG’s Dean’s Catalyst Award (Dec 1, 2022)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The NPC uses this CAN DO mechanism to support new projects amongst two or more collaborating NPC Faculty that will likely result in new collaborative grant proposals and potentially produce new methods of interest to other NPC Faculty and their teams. NPC is able to provide funds for trainee(s), equipment and supplies to help launch these new collaborative efforts. <\/span>Applications can be submitted at any time. Applicants are encouraged to submit by the typical December deadline to leverage the Dean of Engineering’s Catalyst Award<\/a> with the CAN DO. Please reach out to any of the NPC Directors to discuss and help form your ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n

A goal of this Collaborative Project Award is to stimulate interaction between technology and biology experts. We are interested in providing seed funding for innovative projects from which a high payoff could be obtained. A further goal is to assist in generation of preliminary data that will enable funding from extramural agencies. Preference will be given to proposals encompassing several laboratories and for projects that catalyze new collaborative research.<\/p>\n
