To advance therapeutic management\u00a0of this disease\u00a0requires a more\u00a0detailed characterization of its spatiotemporal dynamics. In this talk, we will examine the role of epileptic discharges (or \u201cspikes\u201d) in identifying surgical targets for epilepsy and disrupting healthy brain rhythms, and we will examine how spikes propagate across the brain during seizures.
