This system is a state-of-the-art, whole-body superconductive Zero Helium Boil-off 3T magnet with a XR 80\/200 gradient system with a 64 channel head coil.<br \/>\n<strong>Researchers:<\/strong>\u00a0Technical questions\u00a0about the imaging system\u00a0and questions about using the system (safety and training requirements, rates, booking time) \u00a0can be sent to Shruthi Chakrapani (<a href=\"mailto:schakra@bu.edu\">schakra@bu.edu<\/a>), Dr. Stephanie McMains (<a href=\"mailto:mcmains@bu.edu\">mcmains@bu.edu<\/a>)\u00a0and\u00a0Dr. Chantal Stern (<a href=\"mailto:chantal@bu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chantal@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4>Projection System<\/h4>\n<p>The 3T scanner is equipped with a VPixx Technologies PROPixx Lite Projector system (VPixx Technologies Inc., Quebec, Canada).<br \/>\n<strong>Researchers:<\/strong> Technical questions about the projection system can be sent to\u00a0<span>Dr. Stephanie McMains (<a href=\"mailto:mcmains@bu.edu\">mcmains@bu.edu<\/a>)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h4>Eyetracker<\/h4>\n<p>The 3T scanner is outfitted with an EyeLink 1000 Plus Eyetracker (SR Research, Ottawa, Canada).<br \/>\n<strong>Researchers:<\/strong> Technical questions about the eyetracker can be sent to <span>Dr. Stephanie McMains (<a href=\"mailto:mcmains@bu.edu\">mcmains@bu.edu<\/a>)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h4>Auditory System<\/h4>\n<p>The 3T scanner is equipped with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sens.com\/products\/model-s14\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sensimetrics S14 Insert earphones<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>Researchers:<\/strong> Technical questions about the auditory system can be sent to Shruthi Chakrapani (<a href=\"mailto:schakra@bu.edu\">schakra@bu.edu<\/a>), Dr. Stephanie McMains (<a href=\"mailto:mcmains@bu.edu\">mcmains@bu.edu<\/a>)\u00a0and Dr. Tyler Perrachione (<a href=\"mailto:tkp@bu.edu\">tkp@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4>Physiological Monitoring System<\/h4>\n<p>The 3T scanner is outfitted with a BIOPAC System (BIOPAC Systems, Inc. Goleta, CA) for physiological monitoring. This is a MAC-compatible system providing MRI-compatible physiological monitoring.<br \/>\n<strong>Researchers:<\/strong> Technical questions about the BIOPAC System can be sent to Shruthi Chakrapani (<a href=\"mailto:schakra@bu.edu\">schakra@bu.edu<\/a>), Dr. Stephanie McMains (<a href=\"mailto:mcmains@bu.edu\">mcmains@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4>fNIRS<\/h4>\n<p>In collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/neurophotonics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neurophotonics Center<\/a>, the Cognitive Neuroimaging Center has fNIRS equipment available. Researchers interested in using fNIRS can contact Dr. David Boas (<a href=\"mailto:dboas@bu.edu\">dboas@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4>Cognitive Neuroscience Research Rooms<\/h4>\n<p>The Center has rooms available for behavioral, cognitive, and neuropsychological research. Rooms are set up with tables, chairs, and data ports for hooking up laptops. Researchers interested in using the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Rooms can contact Dr. Chantal Stern (<a href=\"mailto:chantal@bu.edu\">chantal@bu.edu<\/a>) and Shruthi Chakrapani (<a href=\"mailto:schakra@bu.edu\">schakra@bu.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4>Shielded Physiological Research Rooms<\/h4>\n<p>The Center has shielded rooms available for behavioral, cognitive, and neuropsychological research using EEG, tDCS, and fNIRS. Researchers with equipment who are interested in using these rooms can contact Dr. Chantal Stern (<a href=\"mailto:chantal@bu.edu\">chantal@bu.edu<\/a>) and Shruthi Chakrapani (<a href=\"mailto:schakra@bu.edu\">schakra@bu.edu<\/a>). Shared equipment will be purchased in the future once we\u2019ve established a user base, so if you have specific needs please contact Drs.
